‘O’ level

The NIELIT curriculum has been scientifically designed to give the students a solid foundation in Information Technology after 10+2. The one year course comprises of two semesters that are further divided into four modules. The entire course is covered in more than 500 hours - divided evenly between lectures and laboratory.

In addition, at least 20 hours of inputs will be provided in the Personality Development and Pre-Placement training which gives a competitive edge to NIELIT students in the job market.

  • M1-R5.1 Information Technology Tools and Network Basics
  • M2-R5.1 Web Designing & Publishing
  • M3-R5.1 Programming and Problem Solving through Python
  • M4-R5.1 Internet of Things and its Applications
  • MPR-1 to MPR-4 Practical based on M1-R5.1, M2R5.1 ,M3-R5.1 and M4-R5.1
  • PJ1-R5.1 Project

Objective of the ‘O’ Level Course Qualifiers are:

The objective of the course is to equip a student with necessary skills as per following job role.

User Interface (UI) Designer

Web Designer

Web Publication Assistant

Office Automation Assistant

IoT Application Integrator

Practical

The students have to devote 60%of the total time allotted to each module of the course for the practical sessions. Practical assignments have been worked out for each theory module. The Practical examinations will be based on the syllabi module of ‘O’ Level course.
